COVID-19: Helping you during this difficult time

We know the current situation is challenging and uncertain for everyone, but we want to assure you that at Raven Inline Skates, we take the health and safety of our people, our couriers and our customers very seriously. We want to help all our customers continue to receive their orders as safely and securely as possible.

Currently, the ability to book a parcel delivery, our customer support services and our delivery tracking services are all operating normally. Any delays to services or specific regions are listed below and will be continuously monitored and updated.

We are working continuously with all our couriers to ensure disruptions to services – as much as possible – are minimised. Our couriers are also taking all necessary measures to minimise any risks whilst maintaining service levels. This includes, leaving parcels in safe places and avoiding contact with customers on deliveries by taking names rather than getting signatures.

With the current situation making it more difficult to get out and about, we have seen an increase in people choosing to select our collection services. We will continue to do all we can to ensure this service remains available to everyone.

Raven Inline Skates UK will continue to issue regular guidance to our staff in line with the Government’s core messaging of hygiene and handwashing. Staff are currently being encouraged to work from home and anyone displaying symptoms, however mild, are self-isolating in-line with Government advice.

If you have any concerns at all, our customer service team are available to answer your emails.

UK Delivery – Information

Our couriers are experienced and have contingency plans for a number of different scenarios to minimise any disruptions to collections and deliveries, whilst ensuring customer needs are met in the event of localised service disruption.

We are reviewing daily and following the guidance of Public Health England and the World Health Organisation closely for any changes and or updates.

The current situation within the UK is business as usual with some impact on drop shop and signature services.

Drop shops

Some drop-off locations may no longer be accepting parcels. Please check on our notification emails for the most up-to-date list of available drop-off locations.

Having your parcels collected

Safe collections are being carried out by all of our couriers. Drivers will knock on the door before stepping back to a safe distance. Having answered the door, the customer will then leave the parcel for the driver to retrieve, whilst maintaining the advised distance.

Signing for and receiving items

Please be aware that due to changes in the delivery process, most drivers will no longer obtain signatures upon delivery of items. This change has been implemented in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

In order to carry out safe deliveries our couriers are minimising contact during delivery. The courier will place your item at the front door. Having knocked, they will then step back to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. They will not request that you provide a signature but will instead log your name as the person accepting the item. If you are not home, they may leave your item in a safe place, if there is a suitable location apparent. If no suitable location can be found, they will attempt to re-deliver the next working day.
